Exploring the connections between Oita and international art, this exhibition features over 180 works. Masterpieces by artists such as Cézanne, Monet, Picasso, OKAMOTO Taro, and HIGASHIYAMA Kaii are showcased alongside modern art from Oita, offering cross-regional perspective. A special highlight is Picasso’s 《Guernica (tapestry)》, one of the three tapestries of this work in the world, on view during the latter half of the exhibition period.
