The quintessence of the collection
Oita Prefectural Art Museum has a collection of approximately 5,000 artworks and related materials of the artists who are from, or have a connection to, Oita. By showcasing them, the museum enhances their appeal throughout the year. This exhibition introduces selected masterpieces from various genres including new acquisitions such as the kimono by a dyeing and weaving artist, FURUSAWA Machiko, and a Japanese painting titled ≪Cloud≫ by FUKUDA Heihachiro, first on view after restoration.
