Challenges in Art
- Color, form, and material -
Coinciding with the Special Exhibition: “The Collection of The National Museum of Art, Osaka: 100 Years of Contemporary Art,” this exhibition introduces the flow of post-war art in Oita mainly from the 1950s to the 1980s. During this period, many different artistic movements were introduced from overseas, while daily life of people changed dramatically. You may encounter challenges in the use of color, form, and material by the artists, and their endless curiosity.
