Special Feature: Joy of Early Modern Paintings

In the Edo period, the painters in Bungo and Buzen regions made paintings that served the clan, while Nanga painters drew landscapes and flowers for their pleasure. We will display a wide variety of paintings by introducing the points to enjoy them with the historical background.
