NITTEN is the art association that has the longest history in Japan. The many well-known artists such as Asakura Fumio, Fukuda Heihachiro, Takayama Tatsuo and Iwasawa Shigeo, all from Oita, belonged to NITTEN. OPAM hosts the Forth Reorganized New NITTEN exhibition and shows the aspect of art today.
